My Creative Journey

Network Consultation & Design

My consultation experience focuses on translating operational needs and customer requirements into reliable network architectures that prioritize uptime, performance, and long-term scalability. Whether it be outdated systems, new builds or achieving complex hurdles I am confident it will be solved from start to build.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

Strong infrastructure is built on internationally recognized standards and security frameworks. The foundation of these frameworks ensure that our manufacturing industry remains resilient and safe in an ever changing security landscape. Understanding these standards, across many industries have provided a useful baseline in developing recommendations to customers. Auditing and Assessments play a huge role in identifying gaps and the functional requirements for a customer.

IT/OT Convergence

Our industrial world sits at the intersection of enterprise IT and operational technology. Often times we see clients blending the two for a multitude of reasons. Effectively bridging these domains requires balanced security and proper segmentation ensuring production-critical systems remain secure. Comprehending the importance of IT/OT segmentation is vital in realizing the two can co-exist, often sharing commonalities but lacking the proper methods to protect their respective respources.

Custom Solutions for Complex Architecture

What I've learned: There is often times never one single best answer. A design is always centered around what's most applicable to the customer and how their needs and priorities best align. I've constructed network designs that integrate legacy systems, redundant or highly available resources and cutting-edge hardware into a cohesive and supportable system. The unpredictability is what makes this type of work fun allowing creativeness in creating these solutions for users.

Diverse Industry Experience

Exposure to multiple industries brings perspective. Experience across aerospace, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, packaged goods, food & beverage, and discrete manufacturing highlights how different operational requirements shape the technical outcome. Being well-versed in these industries makes it easier to provide recommendations based on first-hand experience.

Business Leadership

Since 2019, I have worked in the restaurant-bar industry from starting as a Host and working my way to General Manager overseeing three locations. While finishing school I worked full time and have since stepped back into a part-time role working weekends. I have a passion for serving and providing our refined 'customer experience' to the Cincinnati area. This experience has been extremely impactful to my life and you can read about it here.

Local DJ

I've always had the desire to put on events  for others. Not as a job, but rather a hobby. This started in high school when I volunteered to run the sound and lighting for school events. Or managing the video board production team at the football facility. These examples are very 'behind the scenes' examples with great impacts to not only my community but my personal development. By the time I hit college, naturally this transpired into DJ'ing. I love curating an environment in which others are smiling and having fun. The joy of seeing others appreciate the music, dancing and connecting. Working in the bar industry has inherently provided the opportunity to do this around Cincinnati.

Free Time

In the free time I do have, I enjoy weight lifting, running and enjoying the outdoors. I love to travel and experience the world. Check out my travel blog here.

The most damaging phrase in the language is: "It’s always been done that way."
